Marco Rodriguez, President
Senior Financial Representative, Principal Financial Group.

Marco has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from California State University, Sacramento. He began his business career with Principal Financial Group in 1991 where he continues to serve as a Senior Financial Services Representative. Marco has dedicated himself to contributing to his community through various non-profit organizations.


Gloriamalia Perez, Board Member
Partner, RMP Strategies, Inc

Gloriamalia Pérez is a Partner in RMP Strategies, Inc. a governmental solutions and public relations firm. Before assuming this position, Gloriamalia held management positions in the California Attorney General’s Office, California Arts Council and El Teatro Campesino. Gloriamalia is a graphic designer with two (2) Masters Degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles. She enjoys promoting the arts, working with artists and creating her own work. While she enjoys the arts and cultures of all nations, Gloriamalia’s favorites are the arts and cultures of Mexico!


Carolina Rojas-Gore, Board Member
Director of Public Relations UNIVISION 19/Telefutura 64

She is the Director of Public Relations for UNIVISION 19 and brings her media experience to the Center while assisting in the fundraisers. Carolina has had a relationship with the Cultural Center for various periods and is passionate in promoting the traditions, customs and culture of Mexico.


Fernando Ortiz, Board Member
President, Elevator Controls

A graduate of the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico City, Fernando holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He completed all course work towards a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from CSUS. Fernando has been the President of Elevator Controls Corporation for 20 years.

Fernando's community involvement includes serving on the board of director's for the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for two terms. Other involvement includes serving as coach for the Fruitridge Youth Soccer League for several years. He is member of the CSUS Chicano/Latino Alumni.


Eva Gonzalez, Secretary
Branch Manager, Golden 1 Credit Union

Eva is currently a Branch Manager for the Golden 1 Credit Union, she has been in the Sacramento area since 1992. Since that time she has been very involved in the community. She is passionate about helping others and this has lead her to be involved in many non-profit organizations. She has served on many boards which she has enjoyed and is currently enjoying the MCCNC Board for the contributions it makes in promoting our traditions in the community.


Omar Gonzalez , Board Member
Omar Gonzalez, A Law Corporation

Mr. Gonzalez earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from California State University, Sacramento and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. He is the founder of Omar Gonzalez, A Law Corporation, a California professional law corporation. Mr. Gonzalez began his legal career as a corporate attorney specializing in M&A and securities with a large Silicon Valley-based law firm. Mr. Gonzalez later opened his own practice switching his emphasis from corporate transactional work to personal injury/wrongful death and workers' compensation litigation. Mr. Gonzalez is fluent and literate in English and academic Spanish and is a member of numerous local and statewide professional and charitable organizations along with being a regular participant in several local charity events.


Maria C. Morales, Vice President
Managing Partner, at Jim Gonzalez & Associates, LLC

Since 1995, Maria has served as the Chief Financial Officer and Managing Partner, at Jim Gonzalez & Associates a public policy, research firm. Prior to working with JG&A she served as legislative assistant to Assemblyman Peter R. Chacon; Executive Director of the California Association for Bilingual Education; and as co-host of a bilingual public affairs television program, “Progreso” formerly on KOVR-TV. Maria has always been proud of her Mexican heritage, a country immensely rich in traditions, history, art and music. She is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento, with a degree in Spanish and Communications.


Gustavo L. Martinez, Board Member
Supervising Deputy City Attorney, Office of the City Attorney, Sacramento.

Gustavo works as the Supervising Deputy City Attorney at the Office of the City Attorney, Sacramento. Gustavo has worked with many different non-profit organizations, which gives him a great amount of experience that will aid in his contributions to the Center.


Juan Jimenez , Treasurer
Realtor, McMahon Phillips Real Estate, Inc.

Juan graduated from Chico State University. He holds a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Financial Management. His expertise is implementing strategic planning and investments. Formerly a Financial Consultant of Whitehall Parker Securities Inc., Juan has the necessary vision of bringing funds to the MCCNC. His financial experience is a great asset to the Board of Directors.

Community Volunteer, Mentor and Caregiver
