Quiénes Somos

Rooted in heritage.
Built for the future.

A nonprofit dedicated to celebrating Mexican culture, supporting students through scholarship, and connecting Northern California to its heritage, led entirely by volunteers.

Our Mission

A bridge between generations.

The Mexican Cultural Center of Northern California exists to keep culture alive where it matters most, in the community that carries it. We do that three ways: we celebrate, we gather, and we invest in students.

Based in Sacramento, MCCNC has spent two decades honoring where our community comes from while creating opportunity for where it's going. Everything we host, and every scholarship we award, is powered by an all-volunteer board and the sponsors who stand behind us.

Since 1992

We've been at this for three decades.

MCCNC was founded in 1992 by a group of Hispanic community leaders determined to share and preserve Mexican heritage across Northern California. From school classrooms to civic arenas, and through lasting community partnerships, that work has continued ever since.
